A one-off showcase from an all-star folk-rock band
The Magpie Arc is a cross-border folk-rock band hailing from Sheffield, Arran and Edinburgh. In this unique programme displaying the musicians’ broad styles and influences, the performance will open with intimate sets showcasing BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners Nancy Kerr and Martin Simpson as well as Scots Trad Music Awards nominee, Findlay Napier. The full band will come together in the second half – expect excellent songs, lush harmonies, scything electric guitars, gorgeous fiddle lines and rock-solid bass and drums.
